The FCB begins its 37th season with a special concert celebrating the re-dedication of the First United Methodist Church in Downtown Farmington.

Target Dress up the whole family in their Halloween costumes and join us for tunes and treats. Hear about trick or treat safety from Officer McGruff and join in the costume parade. Sponsored by the TARGET store at 30020 Grand River in Farmington Hills, in cooperation with the Farmington Hills Police Department.

Join us for our 4th annual combined concert with the Birmingham Concert Band featuring our special guest conductor, John Williamson, Director of Bands at Central Michigan University. The FCB, with Paul Barber and the Birmingham Concert Band, with Grant Hoemke, will perform individually before joining together under the direction of Mr. Williamson.

Farmington's handicapped and senior citizens will be our special guests for an afternoon of familiar music and homemade refreshments.


This program concludes the week-long Festival of the Arts sponsored by the Farmington Community Arts Council. Our concert is funded in part by the Farmington Area Arts Commission in cooperation with the Farmington Public Schools. Presented in conjunction with National Music Week, sponsored locally by the Farmington Musicale.

The FCB endeavors to share a variety of musical experiences with the community. In that spirit there is no cost for admission to any FCB concert. Donations help ensure the future of the band, and may be deductible under current tax laws. Opportunities for donation will be available at performances and through our patron program.
