Welcome to our 37th season . . .
This season begins with a celebration -- the re-dedication of
the 173-year-old First United Methodist Church in Farmington. After that,
the reasons for celebrating keep on coming. There's the Hallowe'en
concert, followed shortly by some international favorites to warm
the chill December air. As long as we're in such a festive mood,
we keep the celebration going with events in January (a joint
concert with the Birmingham Concert Band), February (the Valentines
Dinner/Dance), and March (as we march into spring).
Soon, May will be here, bringing with it memories of past Springs.
We'll be celebrating that, too. Follow that up with the FCB's
summer concerts, and there's all the more reason to get out and enjoy
a fine musical performance.
We hope you'll join us in celebrating the FCB's 37th season,
-- Paul Barber, Conductor Farmingon Community Band
