for an afternoon of nostalgic music and homemade refreshments with our
special guests, The Farmington Community Chorus.
This concert is sponsored in part by the Farmington Area Arts
Commission with support from the Farmington Hills Special Services
- Cultural Arts Division and Farmington Public Schools and is presented
in conjuction with National Music Week, sponsored locally by the
Farmington Musicale.

This is an opportunity to honor armed forces past and present as
well as "first responders" such as our firemen, police and medical
personnel. Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with an outdoor concert
featuring the Farmington Community Band. A hot dog supper will be
available at nominal cost. At 6:30 p.m. activity will move into the
worship center for singing, special music, praise and prayer. Senator
Mike Rogers will be the guest speaker and there will be testimonies from
some of our recently returned military personal from Iraq.
All of the Livingston County community is invited. Bring your friends
and neighbors. A lawn chair and/or blanket to sit on during the outside
concert and picnic would be in order. You will not want to miss this event!

The Farmington Community Band is made up of musicians of a wide variety
of ages and backgrounds who simply share in the joy of performing for
the community. In that spirit there is no cost for admission to any FCB
concert. Your generous donations help ensure the future of the band and
are greatfully accepted. Opportunities for donation will be available
at performances and through our patron program.
Donations may deductible under current tax laws.
