Welcome to our 41st season . . .
The FCB is looking forward to sharing a variety
of old favorites as well as new music this season. We'll be closing out
the 250th Anniversary Year of Mozart's birth with a bit his genius at
our "Celebration!" concert in December and highlighting Copland's work
in March. The rest of the season will be filling with a wide variety of
other composers' works -- a delight for the audience and the musicians, both.
Along with so much wonderful music, you can
look forward to a joint concert with Farmington Hills' Harrison High
School, concerts by the FCB Big Band, and another of The FCB's highly
acclaimed Valentine Dinner/Dance events. Is it any wonder that the
musicians and I are excited about the season ahead? I'm looking
forward to sharing it all with you.
